Reflecting Words
“That’s why he likes having it told to him again.
Because then it’s a real story
and not just a remembering”
Winnie the Pooh / A. A. Milne
Reflecting Words
Words can be used to reflect
one's thoughts and feelings.
It can be our own words,
but sometimes it can be other's words,
that help us understand what we are going through.

Bibliotherapy allows me to help others by listening to their interpretations and reflections on different kinds of texts.
In my experience, it may allow deeper access to one's subconscious, which in turn may make the therapeutic process more effective and efficient.
What is Bibliotherapy?
Bibliotherapy is a creative arts therapy method which uses written and spoken words to deal with various emotional distresses. The therapeutic process combines a wide range of texts such as novels, short stories, poems, oral storytelling, movies and writing interventions.
Bibliotherapy aims to help individuals and groups express themselves in an indirect route, based on their interaction with the text. This allows them to trace the different stories within themselves and explore collision points that might have led to mental distress.
